HOORAY!

Ordered pizza for BFFs and the kids (including honorary older sister for A)...

But more importantly -

OBAMA WON!!!!!

Thank goodness!

Now the real work begins people as we have to fix this mess that 8 years of the Bush administration has created.

Disclaimer

Hi everyone! I have noticed that lots of blogs have disclaimers about materials - so I figured that if someone other than my family and friends reads this blog, I should probably have one too. I do lots of cooking at home and have many cookbooks and magazines I have collected over the years. I learned to cook from my dad - who is descended from a long line of phenomenal cooks. If I adapt a recipe from a cookbook that I am looking at while I am making the dish, I say so and will tell you the source (I am not at work so I am not using academic research footnotes here and because I read so much I may sometimes not be able to remember where I saw the recipe(s).) Usually I cook using techniques I have learned over time and the ones that work best for me (there are only so many ways to roast a chicken). Also, because we keep kosher, I adapt many recipes to accommodate kashrut (no mixing milk with meat). Again, if I directly adapted it, I will state that I did so. Thanks!
